"Knights of the Dinner Table"

"Knights of the Dinner Table" (KODT) is a comic book written and realized by Jolly Roger Blackburn. Why "Dinner Table"? Quite simply, because almost everyone who plays a role playing game (RPG) plays on the kitchen table.

What was, at the beginning, a small comic strip designed to fill a page, quickly evolved into an actual monthly comic book. KODT is also published in Dragon Magazine, a monthly magazine devoted to the RPG Dungeons and Dragons.

Many players of RPGs keep track of (on paper) what has happened in their games. Much of the time, this is funny and amusing. This is sort of what Jolly Blackburn does with KODT. However, he doesn't just show us what the player's characters do in the game. He shows us what the players do when they play. [So you get the best of both worlds.] This is why this comic book is so special. It's a funny reflection of our friends and of ourselves.

The KODT is composed of 5 members, that is to say B.A. Felton, Bob Herzog, Dave Bozwell, Brian Van Hoose, and Sara Felton. There are also many other people who populate the KODT world as well. The KODT meet every week at B.A.'s house to play Hackmaster and other RPGs. They fight orcs, vampires, dragons, beggars, (the list goes on), and they often fight between themselves.
